I just had someone contact me on Etsy to tell me they loved the blog, and to ask for suggestions on further reading.
I rattled off a few of my favorite bloggers, but also suggested to the person that they check out various aggregator sites (and, I'd like to add, blog carnivals) to look around and see what most appeals to them there.

I’m sorry to contact you through comments on your blog, but I don’t have an e-mail address for you and I didn’t know how else to contact you.
It’s been almost a year since Corina and I worked on the first Autistics Speaking Day. She and I will be receiving an award soon for our work on ASDay from the Autistic Self Advocacy Network on November 16th, and we’ve been asked to contact some of the writers participating in ASDay last year to help work on a video to play when we accept our award. I’m contacting you to ask, if you are able or willing, if you would submit a video to us of yourself reading part of what you wrote for ASDay last year, just a paragraph or two that you select. (Text-to-speech is perfectly fine as well.) We were hoping to get it in by October 25th, but since I ran behind I think we’ll be shooting for the 28th. You can e-mail the video to me (kmbjornstad at gmail dot com) and I’ll send it to be edited with the others for the final product.
I really appreciate your participation in ASDay. I enjoyed your piece a lot and I hope you’ll be with us this year as well.

I'm sorry for not getting back to you sooner (I am doing a major landscaping project! It's fun, but it means I don't have as much Internet time as I normally do).

I'm trying to launch programming to serve the teen ASD community in KC, as there is very little programming and what there is is prohibitively expensive.
