Blog Hiatus Retroactively Declared

If you've been following this blog lately, you've noticed I haven't posted anything in a month or so. The reason for that is mostly that words --- and the gallimaufry of unfinished posts sitting in my draft folder waiting for me to wrangle them into intelligibility --- have been even less tractable than usual this past month. I've also had lots of cool things outside of the blog on which to lavish my attention --- new books! lots of snow! and also, visiting siblings --- as well as physical energy in sufficient abundance to work out semi-regularly.

(The above picture is Boots again, this time exploring the clothes dryer. I took several of him in there, but that one is my favorite because I think he looks like an intrepid feline space explorer, preparing to set paw on some strange new planet).

Hardly noticed it, I thought it's quite normal that bloggers take a bit of a time out during the holiday season... oh wait the holiday season has been over for quite a bit... nevermind, I'm happy for you to finally enjoy some snow! :)

...and I have to say, Boots = aww, way too cute!
Reminds me of a post I recently read: Talk to Your Family About the Dangers of Emotional Porn. :P

Great title for this entry! I'm sure we all feel like that at times.

It's nice to hear from you, Lindsay, I missed your posts. However, I've been feeling the same way, so I know what you mean. That reminds me, I've got to do more work on my drafts.
